Our dream is very simple, help people see the world around them. Not the man made, cement encrusted world that most people see every day. We are talking about Mother Earth at Her most lovely, She is peaceful, tranquil, beautiful and giving. There is so much that we can learn from our interactions with Her, all you have to do is be open to it. We were not meant to live on this planet and take everything we can from Her, we are meant to live in harmony, in a give give relationship. You might think this is nuts! How can people do that with our planet? Well, it's very simple, She wants to take care of us, provide for us and all she wants in return . . . love.
We are only common folks. It's just that we have been learning how to co exist with Mother Earth and we have found peace, fulfilment and love. We have learned that we can live in the bush without anything from man's world. There is so much nourishment out there, you just need to know where to look! There is food, water, shelter and clothing. We are learning how to be completely self sufficient and co exist with our environment.
This is only some of what we want to share. If someone wants to become involved with our venture there is much we can show you. Not only is there an opportunity to learn about your world, there is also the adventures. We offer fishing, hiking, wildlife observation, photography, and anything else you can imagine. If you are wanting to learn about wilderness survival or just take an excursion into the wilderness, we will accomodate you. What about just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet? That, too, is in our plans.

Investment Opportunity
Our home at Aiken Lake is a residential lease connected to a trapline. That means that whoever purchases it must be a BC registered Trapper and, of course a Canadian resident. We have that part covered, what we don't have is finances.
What we need is someone who has the vision we have with the finances to back it up. This will be an investment opportunity for whom so ever chooses. We want to be able to bring guests to Aiken Lake, they will have a cabin to stay in or they may join us in the big house. We will offer team building, family excursions and wilderness adventures of their choosing. Our investors may have the option of just being part of a time share in which they have purchased part of a holiday destination or, if we can progress it further, investors in a unique wilderness adventure lodge. The opportunities are endless!
This is a magical place of light and wonder and we want to share it with the world! There is no way to adequatly describe to any one just how beautiful this little part of the world is! Can you imagine all of the stress and chaos of your life just melting away as you begin to relax and feel the healing energy of the world around you. This is what we want to offer people.

The Basic Idea of Aiken Lake
Our dream is to have guests stay with us and show them what the wilderness is really like. This would be a place for people to come and renew their connection with our Mother Earth.
Accomodations would be in our large log home or in a private cabin of your own. There would also be the option of a more rustic experience, kind of like the old time trappers. Staying in a canvas tent with a wood stove, cots and cozy!
We want to be able to take folks out for survival trips where we would make our way through bush, not following a particular trail, but, just bushwacking. Showing people how to make do in the bush with what you have at hand. We have an increasing knowledge of edible and medicinal plants and would like to share that with those curious few who are interrested.
As well, don't forget that your holiday would be that of your own making. It can be as busy or as relaxed as you choose. So . . . wilderness survival, sitting in the sunroom with a glass of lemonade or anything in between, it is entirely up to you! We can also show you a winter wonderland that includes snowshoeing, a trapping experience, enjoying a homemade cup of hot chocolate and winter survival. The limits are only in your own imagination!

Heaven on Earth
Five hours north-west of a little British Columbia town by the name of MacKenzie, you will find the most incredible place on Earth! Its the middle of nowhere, no-one around, no vehicles revving, no horns blaring, no loud music, only wilderness and the music of it all!

Once upon a time . . .
*She slowly opened her sleepy eyes and gazed around at the walls of the cozy little cabin. Her glance fell upon the rustic old wood stove in the corner that she had cooked their supper on the night before. As her feet swung over the side of the bed she reached for the housecoat that hung on the wall. Being careful not to wake her husband who was still in peaceful slumber, she slipped out the door into the serene morning. Breathing deeply of the crisp mountain air, she began to stroll along the path. The big house stood before her, a lazy swirl of smoke rising from the chimney. Turning by the fragrant little garden, she began down the quaint set of stairs leading to the lakeshore. When she arrived at the dock, her breath was taken by the majesty of the mountain across the water. Mount Elsie stood peaceful and protective, her beautiful rise covered mostly by tall evergreens and a dusting of fresh snow at the very top. She closed her eyes and focused on the slight breeze wafting across the water and tickling her skin. Aiken Lake was slightly rippled and the water made gentle splashing sounds against the side of the dock. Her face felt the caress of the morning sun and all she could hear were the birds and waves.
"I could stand here forever!" she thought, as peace and Mother Earth's energy filled her completely.
